Vox Hunt: Brand New

I like it! the hair color does look auburn and the red shows. the cut is lovely, very spring-like. just the thing to fight the winter blahs. I'm glad you didn't wait until "it was all purr-fect and floofy..." but went ahead and seized the moment. carpe diem!
I think you look fabulous!! Don't get it changed at all :)
[this is good]
Hey! It's great! :)
I dye my hair with a color called "Light Golden Brown". Well, it comes out ....um.....reddish brownish orangish something, and well, I have decided it's Me, and I keep reusing the Light Golden Brown to get the reddish etc. color!
It's all in what we are happy with!

I think it looks great! But most salons do have "fix it" policies if you're not happy with it...for that price, they better make sure you're happy! Once you do get it the way you want it, you'll have to show us another pic.
Mariser, MissMean, Lauri & Amanda - Thanks! You may have talked me into it, although I'm still looking in the mirror and going, "Who's that"? I really don't recognize myself with my hair THIS dark. I'm still considering more highlights but I will consider your counsel. *hugs*

Mariser: I AM becoming more of a "carpe diem" kinda gal as I get older. Actually, it's more like "don't sweat the small stuff" or "what the hell" ;-)
Ya' think so??? REALLY? ;-)
Hee hee.... it's funny how that works out huh? For years my sister mixed like a dark golden brown with Auburn and came up with this very color that's on my head right now. My son says, "Just keep it. It looks fine. And it'll fade and THEN you'll like it."
Thanks! But yeah, you're right. And this place is a fancy schmancy place here in downtown Seattle. *snobby upper class voice*: Very trendy, cutting edge, that kind of place, dahling. *back to normal voice* They damn BETTER for that price! LOL!
That's funny how your son says "it'll fade and then you'll like it". Mine always gets to the perfect point...oh....3-4 weeks after I color it.....but, how, how, to get to that point immediately?
Not possible, cuz then in 3-4 weeks, it would be all faded out. Pffffft!
Stick with it, girl, it looks awesome! I need to do a little dye job on my hair..the grey's are peeking out!
Don't'cha HATE it when that happens??!! 'Cause we're not old enough to go gray yet, are we? My birth certificate indicates that I'm 50 now, but I refuse to believe it. *folds arms across chest and makes a stubborn, pouty face* ;-)
I KNOW!! Crap, if we have the technology to send a man to the moon, transplant organs, and carry around super miniaturized computers (smartphones) you'd think they'd be able to invent hair color that would be the right color the FIRST time and not fade....just have to touch up the roots. You'd think!!! ;-)
