Tip. Tippity top? Tipper

Yesterday we were cute-ified over at C.O. with an adorable tabby all curled up and smooshed in a chair sleeping. When I saw it I felt compelled to share (in the comments section) that one of my babies looks JUST like that cat. My kitty's name is Tipper.

He was so named because of the snow white tip at the end of his tail. Plus, his brother is named Pooh. So Pooh and TIGGer would have been a great combination! But a friend of mine had a Tigger and I just COULDN'T use the same name. Hence the name Tipper. (Is that clear as mud?)

Anyway...I digress. Back over at C.O. where we were all ooohing and awwwing over the smooshed-ed kitty picture, our friend & Vox neighbor Baby♫ Lotus saw my comment. She posted back saying "MC2, I went to your Vox blog and couldn't see Tipper's tail in any of the pictures". So Little Maio, these pics are for you (and all your feline friends, of course!).

And, Tipper looks exactly like the cat I got when I was five...her name was Buttons, and she was minus the white tip!

Well, he's one of a kind, that's for sure. Very smart...even though I don't believe in reincarnation I have a sneaky suspicion that in his previous life he was a dog. 'Cause he fetches, tells me when nap time is, comes when he's called (well, 75% of the time) and cats NEVER do THAT! Oh yeah, and he loves Nutrigrain cereal bars. I HAVE to offer him a teeny bite...when he even SEES one or hears the rattle of the wrapping he's in my lap like a shot. Same think with anything in a little plastic cup: yogurt, pudding, applesauce. For the most part, though, neither of them is really interested in people food all that much. When I look into Tipper's eyes, I can't help but believe there's intelligence in there. His brother Pooh? That's a different story... *rolls eyes* If either of them is a "tippler, it'd be Pooh. He's a cool dewd. "Don't worry, be happy" ;-)
