Yup... It snowed yesterday. In Seattle! Pretty cool for a girl raised in Southern California! Of course it's causing havoc for drivers and it's a mess in the upper elevations where this photo was taken. But down here at sea level it was just kinda fun to look out the window and watch the lacy flakes come drifting down. Now, where's that hot cocoa mix?

Woo, I love snow! (I always have to add that I hope all the drivers in the pictures are ok.....wouldn't want anyone to get hurt!)
But, in any case, it is beautiful and makes a house feel SO cozy when we are safe and warm and snuggled up at home!

Ah, I'm sure it will! I lived in Connecticut for just about a year way back in '79-'80. My then husband was in the Navy, and we drove cross country from So. Calif. to Groton (Ledyard, actually) in Aug. '79 with a 3 month old baby and a CAT in the car!! Fun times!.....NOT! ;-) I really DO miss New England, though, in the fall. SO BEAUTIFUL! And I was absolutely IN LOVE with Mystic Seaport Village (right down the road from us) during the holiday season!
(That 3 mo.old baby is now that handsome 27 year old here in my photos). :-D

I've been meaning to ask you.... what's the significance of the musical note in your "handle"? As a frustrated musician I used to collect musical note ANYTHING (when I was young and silly).

Oooh! you are so lucky! I was so happy when they announced we were suppose to get snow but never did. Now, I just can't wait for it to get here!
Here's a picture of what my front "yard" looked like on the first week of December.
Oh and btw... *hands over a nice cup of hot cocoa*
I don't drink coffee, can't stand it, but, hot cocoa is basically to me what coffee is to others. ^.~

lol no. I don't have a car and it's times like in that picture, that I am glad I don't.

I took the picture later on that day to send it to my mom. She was thinking of moving back to Canada to be closer to us. That morning when I woke up, my jaw pretty much fell to the ground. I had to take my son to school..yeah..the snow was up to his knees...it was fun fun. lol

I forgot to mention that it was taken last year >.>
