Breaking News: Cat in Seattle attempts escape

Comments

Did you get CSI Seattle in, I can imagine the fun taking paw prints and the interseting decorating style it would lead to, or trying to comparing floof, but then the entire apartment must be floofed. But even the hardest detective wouldn't try bad cop good cop with cats, I can imagine the carnage

rofl Cats such amazing creature and so clever. yes they are.
I hope their mother isn't too traumatized! Yipes!
(giggle)

It was a bit shocking to a) wake up in the morning & find the front door unlocked! But when the tv went on at 3:30 this a.m. I was all.... WTH??!!?? I haven't even played with the little alarms or whatever that you can set to have it go on automatically! I never DREAMED they could do that! The odds are....astronomical! LOL!

Your kittehs are SO smart! Bit scary with the locks. Did he get outside? or was it just unlocked but still closed?

My Kitty used to open the batroom door where we lived before.. whenever I had gone in there and closed it, which she thought was outrageous - I never thought to lock of course. Unfortunately... the door was just out of reach for a person sitting on the loo so you had no chance of keeping it shut with a hand.... and it opened straight into the livingroom... so house mates and guests sitting on the sofa got the full viewing pleasure... Obviously, she only ever did that to me... hmpf...
Damn kids, errrr, cats... LOL
ha ha! The kitty I had growing up figured out how to launch himself from the top of the stove right at the handle of the screen door and thus it would pop open and he'd fly out to the back yard. We had to have a firm policy of locking the screen after that.

So are they both grounded now?

(If they intend to make a habit of watching tv in the wee hours of the night/morning, perhaps earphones would be a good idea. I wonder if they make them cat-sized?)

Obviously you have poltergeists.
It couldn't be the kitties.
Look at them, poor innocent babies.
How could you even suspect them?
What a mean mommie....
All suspects are assumed innocent! Purrr-uuuff eet!
I think in this case, all suspects are presumed guilty until purrrrrooooven otherwise... (I wonder if MC2 dusted for pawprints before accusing said suspects...)
No, he couldn't get the door open 'cause he would have had to PULL IN and back up, and he's not THAT smart OR strong!! Can you picture it though!!!!???
Yep..... I is the MEANest Mommie that ever live-ded! I mean, LOOK at Pooh's face! He has guilt written all over him all the time!!! ARGH!! ;-)
I asked them why they were watching infomercials, and not Animal Planet! But nobody would fess up to nothing. It really is the darndest thing too, 'cause with this new flat screen and cable hook up, sometimes I have to press "cable" & "tv" and then the "ON" button to get everything to come on right. That the remote was pointed in the right direction & went on the first time they poked at it..... *Dumbfounded look on face* :-O
Didn't dust for pawprints. It'd have to be them or ghost-es 'cause 'dere weren't nobody else here (thank God!) Can you imagine if a burglar had snuck in or something! Yipes! But I like Dewi's CSI scenario idea.... ;-)
YEAH! Can you imagine the red light beams crisscrossing the room, etc? Alas, there is assorted floof pretty much throughout the apartment, no matter how often I vacuum or dust. *sigh* They like to share like that. ;-)

Them are clever catses, them are. They've obviously watched which buttons you have to push, and they did the same. It's tricky with paws, but apparently not impossible. Likely checked the listings to find out when their favorite infomercial was on... (are there infomercials for cat treats????)

So what punishment is being meted out to the purrpetrators? No TV for a week? Especially not at 3:30 a.m.?

whoa! Too clever for their own good! I don't know of a single time when a Miao Brother has opened a latched door.

Oh noes! You have revolutionaries in your apartment, plotting world domination!

Let's hope they DO get control of the world, Suga! They look like they would be great world leaders!

TIPPERCANOE and POOHBEAR too! (omg...will anyone get THAT reference???)

And did she read them their Miranda Rights? They have the right to remain silent. I hope the have a good lawyer like Purry Mason.

"Tippercanoe and PoohBear too"

Bwaahahahahahaha! That was good. PoohBear is much better looking than Tyler. On the other hand, when I looked at a picture of Tyler, his eyes looked rather droopy, as if he'd been up in the middle of the night, watching infomercials.

"You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of paw..."

LOL!!!! Hilarious!

Do you ever wonder about how the Miranda rights started? I didn't know, until I just ran across this.

[this is good]
Haha! Oh cats....
OMG Purry Mason!!!!! LMAO!!!
Yay! Morgat knows what I am talking about! *skips around the room*
That explanation of the Miranda rights was very interesting, Carlisa! Thanks for the link!
Yup. I does. I knows what you mean. *skips around the room with Lauri*
You're welcome. Now you or Laurie have to explain that TIPPERCANOE thing that flew over my head. I wanna skip around the room, too!
